Who receives SMS messages

AfterHours Command SMS recipients are business owners, dispatchers, on-call technicians, or authorized staff members designated by a customer to receive after-hours operational alerts.

Messages are transactional or operational. They are not promotional bulk marketing messages.

How recipients provide consent

Recipients opt in during customer onboarding, pilot setup, or implementation when the customer provides the recipient's phone number and confirms that the recipient is authorized to receive SMS messages related to after-hours operations.

  • The customer identifies each business owner, dispatcher, on-call technician, or authorized staff member who should receive operational SMS alerts.
  • The customer provides the recipient's phone number during onboarding, pilot setup, or implementation.
  • The customer confirms that each listed recipient is authorized to receive SMS messages for after-hours operations.
  • Recipients are told that message frequency varies based on after-hours call activity and configured alert rules.
  • Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

AfterHours Command SMS messages may include:

  • after-hours call intake alerts
  • emergency escalation notifications
  • callback and follow-up reminders
  • service issue and account setup messages
  • operational support messages related to the customer's use of AfterHours Command
